Andrei Yvan Mita was born in Moldavia, Soroca city, and since 1999 lives in Romania with Romanian citizenship.
He graduated the Hight School ”George Apostu”, Bacau Classical Department, singing class – Mrs teacher Claudia Vasilache, and with soprano Silvia Voinea (Bucuresti), during studies, he participated in competition, as follows: first Prize in Contest ”Little Prince”, First Prize contest Romanian- Bacau, Second Prize at National contest of classical music – Vaslui; First Prize competition creative religious ” Light the light ” Bacau, third Prize contest interpretation ” Emanuel Elenescu ” – Piatra Neamt, and numerous recital with piano and Concerts Areas, duets and ensembles accompanied by Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra.
He graduated the Music Academy ” Gheorghe Dima ” in Cluj Napoca, and then Master studies with Prof. Univ. Dr. Marius Vlad Budoiu at Music Academy ” Gheorghe Dima ” in Cluj Napoca.
Under the guidance of Mrs. Dean Prof. Dr. Elena Andries Moldovan (soprano), he graduated the Faculty of Pedagogy Musical Arts, under the singing voice teaching. (Voice Teacher).
During student years, he participated in competitions, ” Martian Negrea ” – Ploiesti; Romanian Lied – Mariana Nicolescu – Brasov; Special Award ”Orange looking for talent”- Bucharest; ” Mozart ” Cluj Napoca; Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra Special Prize of the contest ” Alexandru Farcas ” Arad.
Another participate in festivals Opera are: ” Viva Vox ” with the Masters: George Dumanescu, Franz Fuchs and Ionel Pantea the Hungarian Opera in Cluj Napoca, Targu Mures and Cultural Center Bistrita-Nasaud, the roles of Figaro in ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and Doolittle in ”My Fair Lady” (fragments). ” Festival Cluj Modern ” role ” reciter ” from ” Pretuitorul” under the leadership of Master Conductor and Composer: Cornel Taranu. ‘Medallion composer” – under the leadership of Master Conductor and Composer: Constantin Ripa, Cluj Napoca.
From the first year the Conservatory, he was involved in various projects ”Shows Exam” roles: Orpheus in ”Orpheus and Eurydice”; Le Poet of ”Notre Dame de Paris” Motanul incaltat from the opera for children ”Scufita Rosie”, Salieri in ”Mozart and Salieri” ; Don Anibale from’ Il Campanello ”.
Since 2009, he made his international debut in ”Students Festival”- organised in Timisoara with role ”Pampon” from ”Carnival” under the leadership of Master Conductor: Radu Pantea, with shows around Tody Theatre House (Italy) and Philharmonic House in Bertrange (Luxembourg).
Actively participate in masterclasses with: Mirella Freni (Italy), Ana Maria Ferrante (Italy), Jean Louis Chastaing (France), Josephine Lupianes – (Spain), Monika Mauch– (Germany), Michel Thomas Sturm and Schmieger – (ITOC – Company – Germany).
In 2012, he was engaged in Romanian National Opera House in Cluj Napoca and he made his debuts with roles: Don Giovanni from Opera ”Don Giovanni”; Daland from ”Der Fliegende Holländer”; Carol Quinto from ”Don Carlo ”; Barone from ”La Traviata”; IL RE (King of Egypt) from ” Aida ”; Ramfis from ”Aida” as a guest at the Romanian National Opera Iasi; Timur from ” Turandot ”; Hermann Landgraff from ”Tannhäuser”; Betto di Signa from ” Gianni Schicchi ” ; Monterone from ” Rigoletto ”; Mache Razachescu from “Carnival”; Inspector Havassy from ”Ana Lugojana”; Fiorello from ‘Il Barbiere di Seviglia” etc.
In 2014, he has received contract with Freiburg Opera in Germany for the role ” Reinmar ” from ” Tannhäuser, with the same show debuted on the Opera Theatre in Norwich – England. Immediately, after this collaboration, he received the offer of employment on fixed contracts in Freiburg Opera House Ensemble Theatre where also he is working today.
In the season 2014 \ 2015 he made the debut with roles: Zuniga from “Carmen, Ferrando from ” Il Trovatore ” Tempelwächter and Hohepriester from ” Die Königin von Saba “. In season 2015/2016 he debut with roles: Judge Turpin from ” Sweeney Todd ” ; Dulcamara from “Elisir d’amore”; Jackob Beck and J.K. Sturm from preview “Kaspar Hauser” and Don Alfonso from “Cosi fan tutte”.
The roles of Ferrando from ” Il Trovatore” and Zuniga from “Carmen” he made the debuts as a Guest ( in collaboration with the Theatre Hause of Freiburg) and on the stages of Opera Houses Fürth, Ludwigsbourg ( Germany ) and Wintertour (Switzerland).
