The closing concert of the 33rd edition of the Maria Bieșu International Opera and Ballet Festival: an extraordinary evening celebrating excellence in the art of opera.
An event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Maria Bieșu – the great artist who placed the Republic of Moldova on the world’s operatic map and left us the legacy of a festival that has become a tradition and the country’s cultural calling card abroad.
Performers:
Opera soloists, the Symphony Orchestra and the Choir of the Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre, under the baton of Maestro Nicolae Dohotaru, a conductor who has been both a witness to and a participant in the historic development of this festival since its very first editions.
